Common Questions
What age is this for?
Fidel Family is designed for toddlers and preschoolers ages 1–5. The large touch targets, audio-first design, and visual learning approach are optimized for very young children.
Does my child need to read?
No. Everything is audio-first. Your child learns by listening to native speakers, watching illustrations, and tapping to interact. No reading required.
Which devices does it work on?
iOS (iPhone and iPad, iOS 14+) and Android (8.0+). The app is optimized for tablets but works great on phones too.
Is it really free?
The core app with vocabulary packs, the Ge’ez alphabet, and games is completely free. Some children’s books in the library may have a small price set by the author. There are no subscriptions.
Can siblings share the app?
Yes! There’s a co-play split-screen mode designed for twins or siblings sharing a tablet. Each child gets their own side of the screen.
How do the books work?
Open a book, choose your language, and tap play. Every page has an illustration, text in your chosen language, and narration audio. You can switch languages anytime — even mid-page.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. All content downloads with the app. New content (like new books) syncs automatically when you have a connection, but your child never needs internet to use the app.
Every child deserves to hear their language
Free. No ads. No tracking. Just learning through play.
